Habash: Escalate all forms of resistance 4 December 1999
In a speech on the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the PFLP, George Habash, the Front's General Secretary, endorsed the Declaration of the Twenty, condemned the arrest of activists by the Palestine Authority, and called for a halt to the Palestinian-Israeli talks. Habash stressed the need for Palestinian-Lebanese unity in the fight against resettlement and urged renewal of the Arab dimension of the Palestinian cause.
